About Us

Resilience Therapy Services was founded in 2025 by a licensed behavior analyst and a mom of an autistic boy. Katie (Aiken) Alfonso has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) since February 2024. Katie has been in the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) field since 2019. She received her Master's Degree in ABA from the University of Dayton, Ohio in 2022. Katie enjoys spending her time at work training Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) in the field to deliver behavior analytic services to individuals with autism. Laura McRae was the Vice President of Pinnacle Family Services for 2 years. Laura studied Mental Health Counseling at UNC Pembroke and received her Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling. Laura has been in the mental health field for 14 years and has been a licensed counselor for 7 years. Laura switched careers when her son was diagnosed with autism in 2023. Laura enjoys spending her time raising her two beautiful sons. Together, Katie and Laura have come together to build Resilience Therapy Services for children with an Autism diagnosis.
